Celebrating autumn at the museum

MUSEUM SCHLOSS FÜRSTENBERG
25.10.20

The MUSEUM SCHLOSS FÜRSTENBERG celebrates autumn with a colourful special programme for young and old visitors.

At 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., a free one-hour guided tour of the museum starts. Expert guides take visitors on an exciting journey through more than 270 years of manufactory history, porcelain design and craftsmanship.

Those who would like to become creative themselves can visit the porcelain painting workshop from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and try out or deepen the high art of porcelain painting under professional guidance.

No registration is required for the visitors' workshop - which becomes a hands-on workshop -: anyone who wishes can paint their own piece of FÜRSTENBERG porcelain here from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and take it home with them. Experienced porcelain painters are on hand to offer advice and assistance to all great and small artists*.

Every porcelain also tells a story. If you want to know what history lies behind your old porcelain, you can bring it to the expert hour with museum director Dr. Christian Lechelt. The age and origin of the objects are determined. Information on the current market value may not be given for legal reasons.
