*The Visitors’ Workshop is in Feburary, November and December only open on Saturday and Sunday (10.30 am – 12.00 pm and 12.45 pm – 4.30 pm). On days when the Visitor’s Workshop is not occupied, we charge a reduced admission fee**.

Manufactory Store

The Manufactory Store is open for you and offers the visit under consideration of the current Corona regulation of the state of Lower Saxony.

**On days when the Visitors’ Workshop* is not occupied, admission for visitors aged 16 and over is only 5.00 EUR.

Free public guided theme tours take place from March to October every Sunday at 2 pm.

Ticket validity

Each ticket purchased entitles you to one-off entry on the date of purchase. If you leave the museum, for example to enjoy a break, please have your ticket initialled at the counter first. You can then continue your visit to the museum afterwards.

Rucksacks, bags and jackets

Our cloakroom area has lockers that take a 2-euro coin as a returnable deposit.


Visitors are not permitted to bring pets to the museum (with the exception of guide dogs). There are no facilities for looking after your pet.


Photographs can be taken in the exhibition for non-commercial purposes.
