There is a special tradition of flower painting at Porzellanmanufaktur FÜRSTENBERG. The lead painter and head of the Painting Department, Johann Gotthelf Beuchel, who had worked at FÜRSTENBERG since 1759, created a style of flower painting all of his own. Beuchel worked on sumptuous bouquets which feature a lush, fragrant transparency. The colours in purple, purple-violet and iron red are immediately striking, with the contours almost blurring into the white glaze. This course lays the foundations for following in the footsteps of this great master with traditional or modern motifs.
